Stephen Hendee in THAW at Public School 1 (PS.1) Contemporary Art Center in New York. THAW is 22 ft. wide by 60 ft. long by 13 ft. high and took over two weeks to create for the exhibition, Generation Z in April 1999. Hendee made THAW from foam–board, wood, tape, and lights. THAW is on display at PS.1 through late August 1999.
